Human-computer Interaction is often regarded as the intersection of computer science, behavioral sciences, design and several other fields of study. The backbone of the Bridging-program in Human-Aspects of Technology (PAHT) involves knowledge of statistics, programming, psychology and design. In these courses students learn the basics of each discipline involved in the interaction between people and machines. In the second semester students will acquire more advanced and practical skills related to programming, designing and developing the interaction between people and machines. Students can also choose one elective among the existing electives offered at Madeira-ITI.
