24 January, 2011 - 26 January, 2011
Funchal, Madeira

TEI, the conference of ACM on Tangible, Embedded, and Embodied Interaction, is about HCI, design, interactive art, user experience, tools and technologies, with a strong focus on how computing can bridge atoms and bits into cohesive interactive systems. Madeira-ITI is proud to be hosting the 2011 edition of this event.

29 November, 2010 - 3 December, 2010
Sydney, NSW, Australia

Participation is the complex, contested, changing, creative and celebratory core of participatory design. The theme calls us to explore the current and emerging equivalents to the pioneering Participatory Design focus on involving people in the introduction of technology into their work. This PDC will take up the challenge of extending the design approaches and understandings of participation that informed the first 20 years of Participatory Design towards those that were needed to enable the field to continue to generate major innovations in design in the future.

21 November, 2010 - 26 November, 2010
Lisbon, Portugal

ComputationWorld 2010 is a federated event focusing on advances topics concerning computation as it relates to different aspects of technology. ComputationWorld 2010 is now on its second edition after a successful event in Athens in 2009.

10 November, 2010 - 12 November, 2010
Málaga, Spain
The AmI-10 conference brings together researchers and practitioners from industry and academia working in the field of technologies and applications of Ambient Intelligence. Ambient Intelligence represents a vision of the future where we shall be surrounded by invisible technological means, sensitive and responsive to people and their behaviors, deliver advanced functions, services and experiences. Ambient intelligence combines concepts of ubiquitous technology, intelligent systems and advanced user interfaces putting the humans in the center of technological developments.
